COACH BECKY ACRA
PROGRAM DIRECTOR • REVOLUTION ATHLETICS / COACHING SPECIALIST • HEADSTRONG CONSULTING
Becky Acra is a long-time coach, former gym owner, Program Director at Revolution Athletics, Coaching Specialist at HeadStrong Consulting, author of Raise the Athlete, Not the Pressure, and mom of three competitive cheerleaders. In Episode 43 she joins the dads for a conversation built on one thesis: high standards and emotional safety are not opposites. Becky talks about connecting with an athlete before correcting them, keeping the standard while adapting the pathway, reading an athlete's green, yellow and red states as everyday coaching language, why adults have to regulate themselves first, and how parents and coaches can each stay in their own lane so the sport can breathe. Her perspective is educational coaching and parenting insight, not diagnosis or therapy.
